5. Google Calendar Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your Google Calendar data with third parties except in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: We may share limited data with trusted third-party vendors who perform services for us (such as cloud hosting or error monitoring), only to the extent necessary to provide and improve our services.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your data if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
  • With Your Consent: In cases where we want to share data beyond the above, we will ask for your explicit consent.

We will never use Google user data obtained through the Google Calendar API for advertising purposes.

6. Google Calendar Data Retention and Deletion

We retain Google Calendar data only for as long as it is necessary to provide you with the intended functionality of our service (e.g., scheduling, availability checks).

You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@viewlett.com or by using the data deletion features available in your account settings. Upon such a request, we will delete your Google Calendar data from our servers within 30 business days.

We also automatically delete Google Calendar data if your account is inactive for more than 36 months.

7. Data Security

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used or accessed in an unauthorized way, altered or disclosed. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know.

  • As described above, if you do not wish to receive promotional emails from us, you may opt out at any time by following the opt-out link contained in the email itself. Please note that it may take up to ten (10) days to process your request. Please also note that if you opt out of receiving marketing communications from us, we may continue to send you service-related emails which are not available for opt-out. If you do not wish to receive any service-related emails from us, you have the option to delete your account.
  • Depending on your browser and device, you may have the ability to block or reject cookies via your browser settings. Your browser's help function should contain instructions on how to set your computer to accept all cookies, to notify you when a cookie is issued, or to not receive cookies at any time. Please keep in mind that certain cookies are required to authenticate your account as well as perform some actions within Viewlett, and therefore, to use the Website, some strictly necessary cookies are required.
  • Some of the third-party tools we use provide the ability to opt out. For example, you may opt out of Google Analytics' services using the Opt-Out feature on their website.
